Field trips

Tide Pooling at Natural Bridges with Marina Ramon

We will have fun at the local tide pools while catching some fish and learning about the intertidal habitat. Marina is an sculpin expert, so bring questions!!!

This day we will switch the order of the lab and lectures. We will go tide pooling early (tide pooling counts as your lab that day) and then have lectures in the afternoon. We will walk form our classroom. There might be a long break before lectures so you could dry up if you get wet. This is a mandatory lab.

Note:  CAS and MBA trips will take place during lab hour but since we have to drive for 1 to 2 hours, they will take longer than a regular lab. You are then allowed to miss one of these, if you must, with no grade consequences. However, if you missed both you will lose 10 points from your lab book.

There is no make up field trips or lab.
